Food For the Poor
This woman was one of many cooks that prepared the meal that day.
While we were in Haiti we were given the opportunity to help serve at Food for the Poor. This is an organization that serves food to thousands of people every single day. It was such a eye opening experience to help serve the men, women and children that come through those gates. It is a long process that they go through each day to get the food they need of their families, but for some that is their only hope. They are served rice and some form of protein that changes each day. It is quite amazing to see how much rice they cook and the labor the volunteers do to serve this community.
Each bag of rice probably makes about 5 or 6 of these bowls of rice. They serve 30 bags of rice each and every day!

If you will prayerfully consider committing to raise $400 the entire year of 2014 that would be amazing!! God can do HUGE things through those who love him! Lets let God work through us, so we can help our brothers and sisters in Haiti!! So do you accept the challenge? If so start the fundraisers!! You can do yardsales, car washes, bake sales, church luncheons, the possibilities are endless! But we need you!! Whos up for the challenge? Email me!(Kaylee.nappo24@gmail.com)

Our mission
Our mission is to love Jesus! By loving him we have the desire to serve him in many ways. One major desire on our hearts is to help haiti. Our first trip to Haiti was in July of 2011. From that moment on God has tuned our hearts to love Haiti. We have met some incredible people with amazing stories and we want to share them with the world! Our mission in Haiti is to build relationships with people and bring hope to the lost. Haiti was impacted tremendously in 2010 with a devastating earthquake. It left them in pieces amongst the rubble. Many of the individuals that we have met lost their families, brothers, sisters, friends as well as their homes.
We want to help them rebuild!! They lost their church in the quake so now they are having to be in a different location, renting out a school to have worship. We have property that is close to their original location, so that the members of the church will not have to commute a long distance to worship. This location is very close to the ocean, for future plans of having a fishing village. "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." We strongly believe that teaching them a skill will benefit them long term. We have a lot of money to raise to make this happen, but I am a firm believer that through Christ all things are possible!! If you would like to support us in any way it is so greatly appreciated! Please feel free to contact me for more information! We also need people to be our prayer warriors!! If you can commit to praying for our mission and the support to be raised, that would be so wonderful! The power of prayer is absolutely amazing! Please get involved in some way! We would love to serve the kingdom with you!
